Charlie Rowell, Senior Director, North America Business Development
Charlie Rowell is the Senior Director, North America
Business Development, where he leads his team in the development, coordination, and execution of a unified business plan to attract new companies to Ohio (creating new jobs, capital investment, and payroll).
Charlie has 28+ years of experience in the field of domestic and FDI business attraction including working as an international corporate attorney in Seoul, Korea; he was the vice president for an economic development lead generation and consulting firm, as well as working in economic development with Invest Australia, Welsh Development Agency, Invest Hong Kong and the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, etc.
Charlie received his Bachelor of Science in economics and business from Elmhurst University and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. He also received his Juris Doctorate and Master of Laws in international business and trade law from the University of Illinois
Chicago School of Law. He has traveled extensively in his career and has lived in both Scotland and Seoul, Korea. Charlie has been married for 30 years and has three kids.

Anduril needed a location that could recruit highly skilled employees while having access to its customers, a runway to accommodate military aircraft, and space for future expansion growth.
Anduril was attracted to Ohio due to the state’s supportive business climate, readymade workforce, legacy of military and federal support, and aviation heritage.
With the support of JobsOhio and Ohio, Anduril selected Ohio for their new manufacturing facility and will begin production in the summer of 2026.
